Terms and Conditions for The Cozumel Choice

DEPOSITS

All excursions provided by The Cozumel Choice require a DEPOSIT, pre-payment in advance to confirm/secure space. This deposit will be required at the moment of the booking. The deposit amount required per person is specified in the excursion description.
The Purchaser understands that this DEPOSIT pre-payment DOES NOT relieve the Purchaser of the liability for payment of the total amount due for the confirmed reservation. The Balance due for the excursion will be paid upon check-in directly to The Cozumel Choice, in CASH only (US Dollars, Mexican Pesos or Euros).
The Cozumel Choice will not confirm/guarantee space on the requested excursion until a deposit pre-payment is received.
The Purchaser also has the option of pre-paying the total amount of the reservation at the moment of booking.
All deposits and pre-payments will be processed through PayPal. PayPal is an easy an secure way of making online payments without sharing your financial information. For more information please visit PayPal.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations are honored up to 7 (seven) days prior to the excursion date to receive a refund of the deposit pre-payment. At 6 (six) days, all deposit pre-payments become non-refundable. In the case of reservations paid in full at the moment of booking, the penalty will be only the amount required as deposit pre-payment and the balance will be refunded.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by the Purchaser by replying to the original email confirmation sent by The Cozumel Choice.

REFUNDS

Excursion NO SHOWS are not refunded deposit pre-payments under any circumstances.
If excursion participants are arriving via cruise ship and are unable to dock at all on their scheduled itinerary date, all pre-payments and deposits for excursions confirmed for that date and cruise ship will be refunded.
Refunds will be processed through PayPal. The Cozumel Choice will refund the amount received as a deposit or pre-payment. The Purchaser will be responsible for covering commissions, if any, originated by the refund transaction.

RESERVATION CHANGES

Changes on confirmed reservations should be made by email to info@cozumelchoice.com or by phone at (+52) 984 115 6448 or (+52) 983 102 0532 ; if you dial from the US: 011 52 1 987 115 6448 or 011 52 1 983 102 0532.
Cruise passengers incurring an itinerary change while aboard the ship must notify The Cozumel Choice at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled excursion for re-scheduling.
Hotel guests can re-schedule excursions with 48 hour advance notice on a space-available basis only.
We cannot accept reservation cancellations or changes if no confirmation number is provided.

ITINERARY CHANGES

In case of an early arrival or late arrival of their cruise ship, Participants of any confirmed excursions must follow the directions to the meeting area regardless of times stated in the reservation. The Cozumel Choice will re-schedule excursions to start, as usual, one hour after the ship docks.
Our operation is completely independent from the Cruise Line Excursions. Please DO NOT assume that our operation has been canceled if your Cruise Line Excursion Desk cancels their own operation. Participants of any confirmed The Cozumel Choice excursions should follow the directions to the meeting area in order to participate or to determine if The Cozumel Choice has canceled excursions.
The Cozumel Choice reserves the right to cancel any shore excursions if we consider that conditions represent a risk for participants or guides, or in the event that weather or any other conditions prevent us from operating our excursions safely. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone considered unfit in any way to take part in the excursions.

NOTICE TO ALL CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS

As a highly reputable local tour operator offering shore excursions for cruise ship passengers, we are very conscious of cruise ship schedules and the limitations they could impose. That is why we have planned all our shore excursions to fit our clients’ itineraries.
In the years we have been in operation, none of our clients has ever missed their ship and we keep working hard to ensure it never happens. We reserve the right to refuse to service to anyone if we consider we will not able to finish the tour and be back to Cozumel in time.
